Prof Dr Tobias Goehring (Lead)
Tobias is an SNF-Professor at the University of Zurich and University Hospital Zurich holding an SNSF Starting Grant. He completed his PhD at the ISVR, University of Southampton and Postdoc at Macquarie University and the University of Cambridge before starting the Deep Hearing Lab in 2021 as an MRC CDA Fellow.
Dr Alexis Deighton MacIntyre
Alexis is a Research Fellow at the MRC CBU, University of Cambridge holding a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship. Alexis earned her PhD from ICN at University College London and joined the Deep Hearing Lab as a PostDoc from 2021-2023.
Dr Clément Gaultier
Clément is a Research Fellow at the Institut de l'audition (Institut Pasteur, Paris) and joined the Deep Hearing Lab as a Research Fellow supported by the Fondation pour l'Audition at the MRC CBU, University of Cambridge. He earned his PhD at Rennes 1 University and Inria and worked as PostDoc at Orange Labs in France.
Dr Lidea Shahidi
Lidea is a Research Associate at the MRC CBU, University of Cambridge working on a Grant funded by RNID and earned her PhD at Duke University in the Applied Machine Learning Lab.
Thu Ngan Dang
Ngan is a PhD Candidate at Marseille Aix University and the MRC CBU who completed her BSc in Bioengineering in Germany and worked at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in the Netherlands before joining the Deep Hearing Lab as Research Assistant from 2023-2025.
Erdem Baha Topbas
Baha is a PhD Candidate at the University of Zurich in the Computational Linguistics department. He joined the Deep Hearing Lab as Research Assistant at the MRC CBU from 2024-2025 and holds a MASt from the University of Cambridge in Pure Mathematics and a BA from Columbia University in Mathematics and Physics.
Dr Iordanis Thoidis
Iordanis is a Senior Researcher at Jacoti and earned his PhD at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. He visited the Deep Hearing Lab in March/April 2022 during his PhD for a collaboration on AI speech enhancement strategies.
Dr Shangqiguo Wang
Shang is a Postdoc at the University of Hong Kong. He earned his PhD at the University of Hong Kong and visited the Deep Hearing Lab from January - May 2023 during his PhD for a collaboration on speech-in-noise tests.
